Sometimes a little too quick off the mark, Aries loves action and pioneering activity which demands a boldness and courage from it's natives. 'Gladiator' is a good example of the warrior spirit of Aries. It leaps from one conflagration to the next.

Overall, Aries is the fighter who loves to use it's plentiful energy in activities which demand speed, fast decision-making, risk and daring-do. Sometimes it leaps before it looks and lands in a puddle but has the vitality, momentum and irreverence to plunder forwards, bloody but unbowed, into new things.

Aries rules the head, and likes to have it's head. It's the seed-planter, the starter, the sprinter, but sometimes is too self-involved to notice what others feel or need from them in it's rush forwards. Accidents or illnesses affecting the head are possible but also accidents in general which are brought about by too much haste.

Aries' planet is Mars, the God of War, which rules the blood, martial arts and the military. This is the combative spirit of assertion, aggression, and dominance. Sometimes it applies force upon others to get it's own way. Mars is physical energy, drive and immediate in it's response - it loves to take action. Although it's energy can be ruthless and brutal, it can also be dynamic in business, or sport or communications, or romance and anywhere else where an injection of raw power is needed to push things forwards.

Aries are good in a career in which they can be physical, or take dynamic action and be in the lead in some way or be its own boss. It loves to champion a cause for those in need as well. Aries love a mission, a battle, a crusade in which they can overcome against all the odds. They need the stimulation of adventure and sometimes risk. They are individualistic and self-centered and love to team up with others as they strive to learn the arts of compromise and co-operation. Sometimes they are not easy to live with and need scope to pursue their ambitions without interference.
